Publié le 15 janvier 2026 Mis à jour le 27 janvier 2026

The First Edition of the Interuniversity Conference Cycle on Planetary Boundaries and Socio-Ecological Risks by Cerac and a coalition of Belgian universities

The Cerac and Belgian universities joined forces to launch the first edition of the Belgian Interuniversity Conference Series dedicated to planetary boundaries and associated socio-ecological risks.

On December 2nd of this year, a full day of conferences dedicated to planetary limits and complex risks from an interdisciplinary perspective took place at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). The program of this scientific day addressed several challenges related to planetary limits and associated socio-ecological risks. Researchers from various universities, along with experts in social and human sciences as well as natural sciences, presented their work to deepen the understanding of these systemic and complex challenges.
